COFFEE QUESTIONS:

Do you offer ground coffee?

Yes! When you order, make sure to select "Ground" and not "Whole Bean." Please note that our grind size is medium. 

How long ago was my coffee roasted?

While we don't provide an exact date for the bag, you can rest easily knowing that it is VERY fresh. Most of the coffee is roasted one to three days before shipping, but sometimes, we over-roast to maximize efficiency. In this case, it is roasted five days before shipping.

Are your coffee bags recyclable or compostable?

Not at this time. But we are looking to switch to more eco-friendly packaging very soon.

Where do you source your beans and are they roasted at the site?

The source of the beans depends on the specific coffee. Most of our coffee is single-origin, meaning 100% of the beans come from the same location. 

All of our coffee is roasted on-site in small batches. 

Do any of the coffees have added flavoring?

Nope! The tasting notes that you see for each coffee are natural flavors that come out from roasting.

Is your coffee considered low-acid?

Yes, absolutely! All of our beans are naturally low in acid. That's because the beans are the highest quality coffee grown organically, then fully washed, and not over-roasted. 

Is this 100% coffee or have other ingredients been added?

ALL of our coffee is comprised of 100% Arabica coffee beans. None of our blends or single-origin coffee uses ANY robusta beans.

Is all of your coffee certified as Bird Friendly?

No. We try to source coffee that carries the Smithsonian Bird Friendly certification, but it's not always possible. The certification can be expensive to obtain for farmers, or they don't meet every one of the strict standards. But rest assured, if we offer a coffee that isn't Bird Friendly, we make sure the beans are still grown in the shade or in eco-friendly ways consistent with the farm's region. 

Is your coffee organic?

All of our coffee is organically grown but some do not carry the official certification as it’s expensive for our farming partners to obtain.

If the coffee has been certified as Bird Friendly, then it has also been certified as organic, as this is one of the qualifications for the certification.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, orders over $50 qualify for free shipping within the USA.

How can I track my order?

Once your coffee ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

How can I change or cancel my order?

Send an email immediately to info@beautifulbeastcoffee.com. Make sure to include your order number. 

Please note that if your order has already shipped, we are not able to cancel it or make any changes. 

What is your return policy?

Due to food safety considerations, all sales of coffee products are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

If there is a mistake with your order or it was damaged in transit, we want to make it right as soon as possible. Please send a message to info@beautifulbeastcoffee.com with a description of the issue and your order number so we can fix it!

When will my order arrive?

We make every effort to ship orders within 2 days of placement. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number with either USPS or UPS.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

No, not at this time.

What countries do you ship to?

At this time, we only ship to the United States. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska are not eligible for free shipping promotions.
